MISSING: Lucy – White pitbull with spots, 2 years old, short-cropped ears, natural tail.
VERY friendly and energetic! Not wearing a tag at the moment 😦
LAST SEEN: 10/8 @ 2pm on Asbury Chapel Rd in Huntersville (unincorporated Mecklenburg County, very close to Charlotte line, between Huntersville-Concord Rd and Eastfield Rd)
MORE INFO: Lucy belongs to a friend from Raleigh who is staying with us while he looks for a job in Charlotte. She is used to living in an apartment and exercising outside at dog parks with her owner (Glenn).
She has been here for approximately a week, has had a blast running free with my 2 boxers in the “country” (with constant supervision), but took off after something in the woods on Saturday at approximately 2pm and has not returned, despite hours of Glenn and the rest of us calling for her and walking through the woods. 😦 As a “city” dog, she has next to no common sense in the “country” and we’re very worried that she is either wandering lost and scared over several hundred acres of woods bordered by busy streets, or has been picked up.
She is extremely friendly and outgoing and will hop into any car with an open door. As a young healthy white/blue pit, we’re worried that she has been stolen, but we are very hopeful that she will make her way to the CMPD animal shelter, or a caring individual will seek to return her to her daddy.
Lucy has been Glenn’s constant companion since February of 2010. He is heartbroken and very very worried.
Please share this page and help bring her back home! Thank you! PLEASE CALL: 919.280.3954 Glenn (owner) 980.216.9839 Liz Please call ANY TIME of day or night!!
