Update from Lost Paws Finder on November 8, 2011:

Callie..FOUND & SAFE!! ( “We just received a phone call this afternoon from a woman who found Callie right by the soccer fields near Churchland high school! She is reportedly doing well…a little skinny, but safe and sound with our Adopt A Spot Rescue friends, until our family returns from an event in NJ today.

… We are so, so very grateful to everyone who helped us this week. Our family loves Callie so much–our prayers have been answered. We are very blessed to have so many friends and supports of Callie. Thank you, again.”)

Callie the injured Dalmation from Portsmouth Virginia

Former Adopt A Spot Dalmatian Rescue, Callie (formally Tia), a small liver spotted female, is lost in the Churchland Park area of Portsmouth, VA. I don’t know the circumstances but she ran away by the high school tennis courts dragging 30′ leash. She was hit by a truck but continued to run but had a limp. I am really concerned and this happened around 8:30 this morning [1030/11]. She is microchipped but it is freezing outside and she is hurt. She was adopted in March and if anyone lives in the area, PLEASE–PLEASE go look for her or be on the look out for her. My phone number is 757-484-2940 or cell is 757-537-3322. If you see her please call me immediately.
